Cat Profile: Horace

I return to my blog with another cat profile. This time we’ll look at one of the kitties who lives in Disneyland. If you have a picture of one of us and would like more information about the cat in question, please tweet it to me @disneylandcats

• Hobbies: Sleeping, Archery, Yodeling
• Favorite Ride: Sailing Ship Columbia
• Interesting Fact: Once downed three cans of tuna in one sitting

You will need to have your eyes peeled if you want to catch a glimpse of Horace. He can sometimes be seen guarding the mine shafts along Big Thunder Trail. A native of Frontierland (or at least as far as he remembers), he loves to loiter in the darkened tunnels and yowl at any intruders, be they human, feline, or rodent. He wants to appear ferocious, yes, but he also just likes to hear his voice echo. After dark, Horace likes to ride the Sailing Ship Columbia to keep a better eye on his territory from the the Rivers of America. He will often hide below deck until after that infernal cannon has been fired before jumping up to one of the crows nests for the remainder of the journey. Occasionally, he forgets to come down and becomes an accidental cast member in Fantasmic!
