Cat Profile: Ned
It’s been ages since I last took to my blog, but here is another of our famous Cat Profiles. This post focuses on Ned—a well-known staple around the Disneyland Hotel and Trader Sam’s. Thanks to @chasingwhiterabbitsforfun and @chriskenner for the pictures in this post.
- Name: Ned
- Breed: Domestic Longhair
- Favorite Hangout: Disneyland Hotel grounds
- Hobbies: Glassblowing, cryptography, laser tag
- Favorite Ride: Disneyland Hotel elevator
- Interesting Fact: Graduated summa cum laude from a university of his own creation
Ned is pretty sure he has found the perfect hideaway built just for him. And because he prefers never to venture away from the Disneyland Hotel grounds, he has avoided that illusion ever being shattered. When he hears about other cats (and humans, for that matter) visiting the theme parks or walking to Downtown Disney, it all goes in one furry ear and out the other. Why would anyone need Adventureland, after all, when they can visit the Adventure Tower instead? Ned doesn’t need to see the “real” Big Thunder Mountain Railroad—there’s a perfectly adequate model in the lobby of the Frontier Tower. He can even meet up with some characters in Goofy’s Kitchen. This small town life might sound a little boring to you, but Ned doesn’t mind. Especially because Trader Sam’s is his neighborhood tavern, where everybody knows his name.

Spotting Ned has just moved to the top of my hotel to-do list next trip!
Oh my gosh! I can’t believe this! Love this website. Such an interesting story! You should name a cat Snow White since it was walts first Disney movie.
